About

I'm primarily a Designer, I suppose. Influenced by the colours, textures and patterns of memory.

Having spent my corporate life in Fashion, exploring form and textiles, glass making is a natural extension of the bright colours, fast pace and freshness of that environment. I was always fascinated by the movement and drape of a form on the catwalk.

Glass allows me to capture the essence of a fleeting moment in time, as a new glass piece, exploring and refining new ideas around some of those impressions.

Recently I have discovered painting is becoming an important part of my practice, which is being influenced by my glass art. The two mediums inform each other and keep the energy flowing.

I am a member of the Contemporary Glass Society and The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild.

A selection of my glass pieces are displayed and available to purchase at The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild Gallery, Layby Farm, Old Risborough Road, Stoke Mandeville. Bucks. HP22 5XJ.
