The glass work and paintings I make are influenced by the colours, textures and patterns of memory. My inspirations have always been drawn from history and a sense of place which lead me to explore long forgotten paths and traces of elements overlooked in the everyday...

The glass pieces are vibrant and colourful, drawing from experiments with enamels and inclusions to increase layers and add interest.

The paintings are an abstract representation of landscapes - applied using acrylics. Often printed collage papers and mark making tools are used to convey texture and depth to the finished pieces.

The two ways of working seem to inform each other so there are always new ideas with avenues to explore and play with...
